Year 2005

Chinese new year's celebrations are going on?

Year 2005 has finally arrived to most of us on this planet.

It is just counting numbers really, but 1999 – the end of the world was just 6 years ago. When I was a kid in elementary school, I dreamt of the future of linear motor car trains, flying cars, and healthy, easy microwave foods as much as I feared of the end of the world with World War 3 or nuclear war and nuclear winter.

Here we are. We are still surviving. No world-wide nuclear wars, no electric sheep with black rain falling from nuclear polluted sky, and no war orphans' tribe (like in the movie, Mad Max). We are making tons of plastic craps from oil. We are consuming, polluting, and warming the world. I wonder when this planet will hate us? Does any of us have a master plan for exodus?

The future is still exsisting continuously, a second, a minute, an hour, a day, a week, a month, a year, and a decade ahead.

Science fiction is just science fiction. No, there are no flying cars, but many of us have devices to communicate with each other. There were no cell phones showing in the Science Fiction movies in 80s. The future is taking its own way.
