"Keep Feet Off the Seat."
First time when I saw this sign stuck on the windows of Ctrains, I thought "isn't it a common sense to keep feet off?" "why do they have to warn people with the sign?"

A few months later, my manager at work told me that some people really did get tickets for the violation for the sign from transit patrol people.

Since then, I always look at the sign. It makes me laugh that a common sense is not a common sense in a different place.

When my friend visited me from Tokyo, I thought the sign is a part of what Calgary is. I showed her and she was really interested in the sign. She even took a picture of it.
