As some of you have already been notified, I decided to go back to Toronto. I haven't told anyone in Calgary except one of my instructors. I don't know many people in this city anyway.
The reasons why I decided are:
1. M decided to move to Toronto. It will be very stressful for him because he will have to deal with his work, house, and money stuff.
2. I feel terribly lonely while M is away from this city for his work.
3. I don't feel like I will ever adjust to this city's environments, though I have tried.
4. I want to study and work in more diverse setting.
5. I miss all my friends in Toronto
6. I miss those little corner stores around in Downtown Toronto
7. I miss Lake Ontario and dirty air
8. I miss hot and humid summer and Maple leaves in Autumn in Toronto
I have already applied for George Brown for transferring (how quick it is).
There will be some gaps between M and I. Obviously, it takes longer for M to move to a different city. Meanwhile, I will try to find a little room in a shared house in Toronto. I will restart living in Toronto probabaly sometime in August before school starts.
The result of living in Calgary; there is no regret. It was good to see and live in a different city and to know how strongly I feel that Toronto is my hometown in Canada.
By the way, I am supposed to be eligible to have the $400 cheque from the Alberta government according to the government's criteria. However, I found a cheque only for M today. Maybe, I won't get the cheque.

I dont' blame you one bit. If you were living closer to an urban area, if M. wasn't away so much, if it was a more diverse place.... a lot of ifs I think. and I also think it's good for M. too to move to Toronto. I think he'll be surprised how much he likes it.
This, of course, means we will NEVER have that Calgary drink :)
Now you owe me a beer at Woody's.
I think your happiness will have little to do with geography ultimately. I think your life will be better if you move back to Toronto because you'll have a support system of people around you -- and presumably get more of M's time.
Hope you can sell your cowboy boots for a profit :)
Congrats.
