湖南料理 | Cuisine of Hunan Province, China

昨日は友人たち３人と湖南料理のレストランへ行った。
場所はSteelesとVictoria Park辺りだったろうか。
一口に中華料理と言えど、地域によってテイストが異なるものである。
食後に友人には伝えたが、湖南料理は僕にはちょっと向いていなかったのかもしれない。
鴨の舌があった。食べず嫌いは基本的にしないようにしているが、この食材は躊躇する部類に入る。食感は面白いのだが、グロさを思い出してしまい、食感とともにえづいてしまった。
中華料理で言えば、僕は麺が太い北方の料理の方が向いているんだろうと思う。
まだまだ世の中には食べたことがないものがある。


I went to a restarant of Hunan cuisine with 3 of my friends.
It was located close to Steeles and Victoria Park.
There are so many tastes in Chinese cuisines.

After the dinner, I told my friend that I am not good with Hunan cuisine.
There was tongues of ducks. I always try at once on a food that I have nver had in my life, but this food is a kind of foods that makes you a little worried. The texture in my mouth was interesting. However, I recalled its grotesque shape and I almost spit it out although I ate it.

I think I prefer northern chinese cuisine with thicker noodles.
There are still so many things that I have't had yet.
