運転手 | Train Operator

僕は小さい時、（ありがちだけど）電車の運転手になりたかった。

僕と同い年の人達で、何人の人が、小さい時からの夢をそのまま職業にした人がいるだろうか。

僕は今、トロントのジャンクション・トライアングルという地区に住んでいる。

２つの鉄道線に挟まれ、分岐点や交差点が多い事から、この名前がついている（と思う）。

今日の帰り道、鉄道がブロア・ストリートとの立体交差を通過していった。

VIA Railの列車だったが、機関車の後ろにRocky Mountaineerのきれいな車両１両が連結されていた。きっと、工場からやって来た真新しい車両で、大陸横断のVIA Railの列車と共にアルバータまで行くに違いない、と思った。

列車の中に人影を見た。

みんなの目的地はどこなんだろうと、ふと思いに耽る。

I wanted to be a train operator when I was small. This was nothing extra ordinary for a kid's dream. I wonder how many people, who are the same age as I am, became what they wanted be since they were small.

I am living in a neighbourhood called, Junction Triangle, in Toronto.

This area is located in-between of 2 rail lines and there are many points and crossing points, so (I think) this area is called like that.

On my way home tonight, I saw a train crossing on a bridge over Bloor Street.

It was a VIA Rail train, but there was a beautiful passenger car of Rocky Mountaineer after a locomotive. I thought that car must be fresh out of a factory and the car must be on the delivery with the trans continent VIA Rail train to Alberta.

I saw people on the train.

I indulge in thinking about the people's destinations for a second.
