Isn't It Too Fast? |

For those who use electric wheel chairs...
isn't it too fast to drive through crowded intersections in downtown Toronto, say Yonge and Wellesley?

Faster than the speed of usual walking people – might be faster than a jogger, too.

It makes me always puzzled that people don't say anything about it. On the other hand, I will get a look (sometimes) when I push my bike walking with my friend(s) on a crowded pavement.

***

i think its better than too slow as long as they can handle safely..

I agree that it is better than too slow. It may be just because of people's perspectives and adequateness of speed.

My 70 year old aunt got hit by one of those speeding electric wheelchairs... while she was walking in a shopping mall. She now has to use a cane... I told her to get an even more powerful electric wheelchair and get even by stalking the bad drivers and pushing them off the sidewalks like in the 70's Spielberg movie "DUEL"....

Oh I know the movie!

I have watched it on the TV when I was a teenager.

It was kinda strange subject for a movie-long story.

Drive Safely, please pay attention to other people on the pavement – this is only what I would say.
