原子力時代 | Nuclear Power Era

僕達の世界には、原子力発電所が隣にある事が多い。
地図はGoogle Earthから、同じくらいの高度からの衛星写真だから、カナダの人も日本の人も距離感をわかってもらえる、と思う。

白丸が原発。カナダ、日本ともに、非表示であるが、この他にも原発はあるから。
原発はとても身近にあるものだと思った方が理解が早い。

もし、スリーマイルやチェルノブイリや福島が、ピッカリングだったら・・・。

総選挙間近のカナダの政治家が、原発、エネルギー政策について、具体的な事を多く語らないのが不思議でしょうがない。


In our current world, it is not rare to have a nuclear power plant in our neighbourhood.
The maps are from Google Earth and the satellite images are saved from about the same altitude, so I believe it is easy to understand the distance in the images.

The white circle is where a nuclear power plant is located. We, of course, have other nuclear generators both in Canada and Japan. It is not just shown in the images.
It is easier to understand that we have nuclear power plants very close to where we live.

If the accidents of Chernobyl, Three Mile, and Fukushima happened in Pickering ...

I wonder why Canadian politicians, who will have national election soon, don't talk about their nuclear and energy policies concretely very much.
