Korea Town

There are only 3 subway lines in Toronto.
The number of the subway lines are not really satisfactory for me as a trainspotter-used-to-be when I was in the first year in junior high.

When I was a senior kindergartener in the child care centre, I memorised all of the station names on Kintetsu Nara Line (a commuter rail line in Osaka) and I was pretty proud of myself.

If I am asked to write all of the stations name in Toronto, I would probably be able to write 95% of the stations.

The line that I use often is Bloor-Danforth Line. The place where I work is located on the same line. My everyday life can be completed on this Bloor-Danforth line only lately.

I went to Bathurst station to meet my friend today. The destination is Korea Town. We had lunch at a restaurant that serves steamed rice in a stone pot and Korean stews. We then went to a Korean supermarket (they have Japanese stuff as well) nearby. I bought tea bags of barley tea there. After that we had coffee at Tim Horton's.

I really like this friend of mine with whom I can talk about various kinds of topics with no hesitation. It's been quite long time since I met her at my previous employment. I had so much fun of talking to her then, it was already 5 p.m. when we realised.

We walked to Spadina station. She took eastbound and I took westbound on the subway home.
