トロント大学のレジデンスに現在友人家族は暮らしている。
夕食に呼んでくれたので、昨夜仕事が終わってからお邪魔した。
手ぶらでごめんなさい。
おいしいキーシュとサラダとスープ。野菜はどっちかと言うと好きな方なのだが、自分が料理をすると大いに不足気味。昨夜は、１ヶ月分の野菜をまとめて摂ったような感じがしてラッキーだった。おいしかった。ありがとうございます。
夕食後、旦那さんは用事でお出かけ。
僕は、友人と話しながら、友人の子供と遊んだ。
小さい子供と遊ぶのは久しぶりだった。
最初は「お前、誰やねん」的な沈黙、食事の頃から徐々に喋りだして、最後の方ではかなりハイパーに（僕が大き過ぎる声で絵本を読んだのも一因だけれど）。
僕が保育園にいた時に読んだ絵本もいっぱい持っていた。僕は小さい頃、電車好きだったのだが、僕の記憶の片隅にあった「きかんしゃやえもん」も持っていた（日本版機関車トーマス？と友人が言っていた）。保育園の時、僕はその絵本を結構な頻度で独占していた。ぐりとぐらもありとても懐かしかった。
My friend and her family live in a residence of University of Toronto now.
Because I was invited to dinner, I visited her after work.
I am sorry that I didn't bring anything to the dinner.
The dinner was quiche, salad, and soup. I like vegetables but I don't eat them a lot when I cook for myself. I was lucky that I could have a lot of vegetables like taking them for a month length. It was a great dinner and I really enjoyed it!
After dinner, her husband left for doing his stuff.
I played with her son while talking to her.
It has been for a while since I played with a little child.
In the beginning, her son was "who the heck are you?" silent. He started to talk little by little during the dinner, and then he became very hyper at the end (I think I read a book to him with voice too loud, this might be a reason why he became hyper).
There are books that I have read when I was in daycare. When I was small, I liked trains very much. I had a memory of the book "The Locomotive Engine, Yaémon" in a edge of my brain. There was the book that was borrowed from Japan Foundation. My friend was describing the book as Japanese version of Thomas & Friends. I remember that I occupied the book, " Yaémon," very often when I was small at daycare. He also had a "Guri and Gura" book. Those books really brought back some memories in my childhood.
