Back Alley

I sometimes walk home from the train station. There is only one route I always take.

Today, I get off at Shawnessy station to go to SuperStore nearby. I buy a bunch of bananas and a water bottle. I take the route to go home. I sometimes encounter these specific Asian man and woman on a back alley. When I see them in the morning, I say "hi" to them. Probably only walkers in this neighbourhood know this shortcut, and there are not many people walking anyway.

I am not sure those Asian man and woman live around here. Their appearance doesn't match to this suburban neighbourhood. The woman is carrying multiple bags with using a rod (bags are hanging on both tips of the rod like a balance) and the man is dragging a cart. I wonder what they are doing or where they are heading to. I observe them from the back for a bit and just pass them.

They are only a few people who I see and who take the back alley.

The scenery around them was suddenly a sepia-coloured market in South Eastern Asia.

Wait... This is Calgary and home of our new prime minister.

I'm sure if you ask nicely our new PM will ship them Asians back to where they came from! :)
