Winter with Field Uncovered with Snow

We seem to be having one of the warmest winters in ages nationwide in Canada. Here, in Alberta, is not an exception. It got really cold last November, so I prepared for brutally cold Calgary winter with buying a new down jacket. I have worn it only couple of times. When we entered holiday season, we had Chinooks constantly. It has been very mild until now. I almost forget the freezey sensation in my nose when we breathe in a cold weather.

From my friend in New York, I heard that they got tons of snow recently.

Oh yes, it is still in February.

It was 11 ºC high in Calgary yesterday. We seem like getting the traditional winter back in this land. Canadian winter doesn't end till Victoria day. There are still three months to go.
