Online Shopping

I asked my friend, K, in New York to buy a backpack online for me a couple of weeks ago. You maybe think why I asked K while I could buy it online. Whenever I want something and I can't find it in a store, I do shop online. Recently, I found that most of American online shopping sites allow only people in the States to shop through their sites.

I was looking for a nice, functional, backpack to carry my laptop. I didn't find anything attractive in stores, so I started to surf online. I found a bag in the Burton online store.

After struggling with Burton's site and its shopping process a little, K recieved my purchase quite quickly. It was on March 7, and K shipped it to me in Canada the next day by airmail. It is supposed to take 4 to 10 business days.

Whenever I expect to recieve a thing by mail, I feel uneasy and kind of frustrated. I can't wait for a thing to arrive. Yeah, I know I am childish.

So, I try to avoid shopping online.

I repeated checking the mailbox and getting disappointed everyday last week. I hope I can recieve the package soon next week.

I've bought aquarium pumps and underwear online -- but from Canadian websites. Shopping so really sucks in Canada (Toronto, at least) that you really have to shop online for fabulous stuff!
