Project MP3

I heard that my friend in NYC was importing music data as MP3 files onto his laptop's hard drive about 2 weeks ago. Since then, I have been thinking that I want to do the same thing.

I am planning to buy a external hard drive that has USB-2 and 150 GB space. The hard drive has a pretty decent price for the features, too. I always wanted to have an external hard drive to back up the data on my laptop.

CDs! I have shit load of them! I brought 3 folders that contains 36 CDs and 1 folder that contains 24 CDs initially 8 years ago when I moved to Canada first time. Besides the folders, I got 3 boxes of CDs that I collected in Canada. I could swim in a sea of disks.

150GB space seems alright for any purposes, but I start to wonder if all of music data from those CDs will fit into the hard drive...

With being impressed with how technology is being advanced, I will sigh for how much time importing process will take...
