再会 | Brief Meeting

僕が飲みに出る場所はたいがい同じ場所である。

トロントで再会なんてしょっちゅう起こりうることだけど、この知り合いは勤務体制や時間の違いとかで、２年くらい会わなかったんじゃないだろうか。

どういう理由があったのかよく覚えていないけれど、いろいろお世話になった人だったのだが、ある日から疎遠になった。

お酒が入った後の出会い頭系だからしょうがないけれど、しょっちゅう出会う訳じゃないので、挨拶がもう少しあれば良かったかなと思う。


I usually go to the same area/place for drinking.

It is usual to bump into each other with a person who you know in Toronto. I haven't seen this specific person that I know for about 2 years because of the difference of how and what time we work for each employment, I think.

I don't remember many of the details anymore, but this specific person started to put a distance between him and me. Though, I always appreciated his help and friendship.

Although it was an unexpected encounter after drinking (I assumed that he had, too) and because I don't see him often, It would have been better if I could talk more a little bit.
