ティム・バートン展 | Tim Burton Exhibition

トロントのダウンタウン、キング・ストリートにある、トロント国際映画祭のビル、TIFFライトボックスにティム・バートン展を観に行った。

一人では多分行かなかったと思う。

思っていた以上の内容で、楽しめた。

映画など最近の作品しか知らない僕だが、彼の学生の時や若い時の作品が特に興味深かった。

思えば、僕も同じ様なスタイルの絵を描いてたかも。

彼にはそれを現実化するエネルギーと才能が備わっていたのだ。

ベンチに座り、また思慮に耽る。

I went to see Tim Burton's exhibition at TIFF LighBox on King Street.

I would have not been there if I needed to go by myself.

I enjoyed the exhibition and it was far better than I thought.

I know only his recent motion pictures works, but I became interested in his early professional/unprofessional works.

I recalled that I might have drawn in a similar style when I was 18 or so.

He had enough energy and talents to realise his works in pieces of paper.

I was sitting on a bench and indulged in thinking.
