When I got off at a subway station yesterday, a TTC worker was handing out a survey to its riders. I am, of course, one of the riders. I grabbed the survey (here is the online version of the TTC Survey). There are too many silly questions to a rider like me, a rider who doesn't have a license or a car and doesn't drive. No matter how much more they raise their fare, I will probably keep using the public transportation.
Yes, our city has a lot of problems in its budget. Though, I can't understand one thing – there seems to be NO self-improvement plans from TTC, other than cutting surface route services and raising the fare. I think TTC can cut more of its inefficiencies.
Rise or fall, it's time for our city and TTC to get smarter to solve this problem unless we get any supports from mean politicians' higher governments.
Invest more of our tax money in this province's and this country's biggest city!!
