La Turbo

I was browsing iTunes Store last night.

I noticed that the iTunes Canada started to sell music from around the world. It, of course, includes Japanese music.

There were not many selections, but it is far better than visiting any HMV stores in town.

It is sad but a truth that shopping in Toronto is not as exciting as it used to be before any more. (Please do something, merchants and business operators in Canada! lol)

I found a band called "La Turbo."
Their music is quite traditional Bossa Nova, but the lyrics are in Japanese. The sound is very transparent yet vibrant. The music is good for a sunny, quiet afternoon.

I really liked them, so I downloaded a couple of songs.

I kinda sensed this, but I found that they are from Osaka when I browsed their website and myspace.com.
