紀伊国屋 | Kinokuniya Book Store

先週紹介した友人が掲載されている雑誌「relife+」、東南アジア方面に出張で行く前に、東京に４日間休暇で滞在するカナダ人の友人Aに買ってきてもらえるように頼んだ。

友人Aは２年間日本に住んでいたことがあるので、日本での買い物の勝手を知っているので頼んだのだ。

チャットにいると、メッセージをしてきてくれた。新宿の紀伊国屋に行き、建築関係雑誌のコーナーで探したが見つからなかったらしい。そんな時にと前もって教えていたISBNのコードが役に立ったらしい。店員にコードを伝えると１０分ほどで持ってきてくれたそうだ。

これで友人の載っている部分が読める。友人Aに感謝。

そんな友人Aは４日間という短い東京滞在の後、明日、上海経由でシンガポールに発つそうである。


For the magazine, "relife+" that I introduced last week, I asked my friend, A, who left for a short vacation and business trips in Asia, to get me the magazine while he was in Tokyo for 4 days.

I asked A becasue I knew he won't have much trouble when shopping in Japan because he had been in Japan for 2 years before.

When I was online today, he messaged me and told me that he got the magazine for me. My friend went to a Kinokuniya book store in Shinjuku. He was looking for the magazine in the architecture magazine section, but he couldn't find it. I told him ISBN code before he left, so he told a clerk the code. The clerk brought him the magazine without no problem.

I will be able to read my friend's article in the magazine. Merci beaucoup, A!

After his short 4-day vacation in Tokyo, he will fly to Singapore via Shanghai tomorrow.
