成田～カルガリー | Narita ~ Calgary

エアカナダさん、なんで成田～カルガリーなの？
２０１０年の３月から就航らしいです。

機材はBoeing 767系。
昔、バンクーバー～大阪便で乗ったのと同じだろうか。
大阪便復活なんて聞かないので、過去に飛んでた大阪便ってよっぽど客がいなかったんだろうな。

カルガリー直行は一般客よりもビジネス客を狙ってるのかも。
というのは、カルガリーのあるアルバータにはオイルサンドもあるし、アルバータを越えて北極圏まで行けばレアメタルの宝庫だと言われているし。

全日空が大阪便をカナダから飛ばしてくれないかなぁ。

なしだなぁ、きっと。

Why Calgary?

Air Craft will be Boeing 767 series. I think it is the same air craft that I got on from Vancouver to Osaka in the past. I don't hear anything relates to restarting a flight to Osaka at all, so I assumed that the flight between Osaka and Canada didn't have enough passengers.

A direct flight to Calgary may be aiming for business people other than general/tourist passengers because Alberta, in where Calgary is located, has oil sands and the arctic regions north of Alberta have rare metals.

Could ANA start a flight from Japan to Canada?

It's not possible, is it?
